Independent Laboratory Tests Performed
Panels of automobiles that were painted with automotive base coat and clear coat systems were divided into two sections; the top half was treated with very well known brands of car waxes and protectants while the lower half was treated with Mazzarella's Hot Body Wax® Express Detail.
These panels were subjected to UV light in a QUV instrument which mimics direct sunlight. After only 6 weeks in the QUV instrument (which is roughly the equivalent to two years of normal weathering), the panels that were treated with the competitive brands of waxes and protectants showed a severe loss of gloss and clarity while the sections treated with Hot Body Wax® Express Detail retained their high gloss and clarity.
Other tests were performed where the top half was left untreated while the lower half was treated with Hot Body Wax® Express Detail.
These panels were placed in the same QUV instrument and subjected to 6 weeks of mimicked UV light (which is roughly the equivalent to two years of normal weathering). The untreated panels showed a severe loss of gloss and clarity while the sections treated with Hot Body Wax® Express Detail retained their high gloss and clarity.
